How it works
Do I need a paid plan to refer?
You need a claimed business on Spotbeam (free). Your referral link is generated when you claim. However, the free months you earn are applied to a Storefront or Custom Domain plan — so you'll want to upgrade to use them.
What counts as a successful referral?
When someone signs up for a paid Storefront ($99/yr) or Custom Domain ($299/yr) plan through your unique referral link, that's a successful referral. Free claims don't count — only paid upgrades.
When do I get my free month?
Instantly. The moment your referral's payment processes, one free month is added to your account. If you're not on a paid plan yet, the free months bank up and apply when you upgrade.
Is there a limit to how many I can refer?
No cap. Refer 12 businesses and your Storefront plan is free for the entire year. Refer 24 and you're covered for two years. The more you share, the more you save.
What does the referred business get?
They get the same founding member pricing available to everyone — $99/yr for Storefront or $299/yr for Custom Domain. Your referral link doesn't change their price, it just earns you credit.
